NWLLI students prepare Personal Mission Statements
We provide funding for both Lions and non-Lions leadership training. Lions training events are available to both Lions and non-Lions.
Grant applications must be submitted at least 60 days prior to an event. Grants submitted 30 to 59 days prior are subject to a $200 expedited application fee.

Northwest Lions Leadership Institute
An annual leadership training course consisting of 3 days of training, honing leadership skills for up to 90 Lions and non-Lions. We provide scholarships for MD19 Lions participants, on a “first come” basis; covering about half the cost of training, meals and lodging.
Border Crossing Editor Support
The Border Crossing is the official MD19 publication made available to all Lions in our Multiple District.
A one-day leadership class, available to any district in MD19, for both Lions and non-Lions. Organizers may apply for a Lions Leadership Foundation grant of up to $500 per district, per year.
District Governor-Elect, Vice District Governor-Elect and Zone Chair-Elect Training
Three days of classes to ensure that District Governors, Vice District Governors and Zone Chairpersons are prepared to
do their jobs
MD19 District Support Team Travel Expenses
Available to MD19 Leadership, Special Events, Training, Faculty Development, Extension, Membership, Public Relations & Retention Chairpersons
MD19 GoToMeeting.com Account
The MD19 GoToMeeting.com account allows MD19 leaders to hold online meetings with a variety of groups, such as DG’s and VDG’s, to provide training and support. These online meetings save many hours and many gallons of gas for attendees throughout the Multiple District.
